Just thought I'd share a few shots Mr. Coffee took of some of his latest work. Some outstanding craftsmanship....

The pictures aren't great (Bill's working on that).., but the knives sure are!

Enjoy....

Man, oh man, those are some great looking knives! Mr. Coffey makes a beautiful folder. I love that slipjoint(middle). Very clean, simple and handsome folder. Good stuff.

Are those diamonds in the spacers behind the bolsters? Swank!

Very nice looking knives. I especially love the second one and how the blade is wide all the way to the tip.

Those are diamonds.., yes.., but Bill will have to drop in and comment on size, and how they are cut.

diamonds!

wow, those are amazing pieces of work! #2 & #4 are my favorites in this lot. I'd love to hear a bit more details about them, if you have any to share.

Knife #2 Is 6.5'' With A 3'' 1095 Carbon And Nickle Damascus Blade. Same Damascus On The Bolster, Both Heat Colored Brown. The Spacer Is 01 Tool Steel That I 24k Gold Plated And Set 8 3mm Dimonds In It. The Handle Is Aaa Grade Ironwood, And The Thumb Stud And Screws Are Also 24k Plated
Knife #4 Is Also 6.5'' With A 3'' Blade Made Of Tnt Damasteel(stainless)same With Bolsters. The Handle Is Walrus Ivory. Titanium Liners On Both Knives Anodized Gold To Match The Knife.the Thumb Stud Has A 3mm Citrine Stone Set In It.

Nice stuff. I really like the knife #4. Design and materials really come together well.

I really don't like gem stones on knives (or watches). But knife number 4 really does it for me in all other respects. I could even live with the citrine thumb stud.

I hadn't heard of Bill Coffee till now. Clearly a very accomplished knifemaker and I wonder... Hmmm... a background in jewellery as well ? I like the cleanness of the slipjoint, personally, but if I had the means, I'd be looking more closely at the fancier ones as well. Beautifully made. Jason.
