Somebody getting a new toy

Will not say who, but I hear that he is going to replace the grinding wheel with a spindle and other items to create a surface grinder that uses the normal belts (2 x 72) for knives. The surface grinder came out of a working shop and it is being delivered a long way away for Peanuts. Surface grinder, freight and all, it weighs in at 850 lbs. Did my buddy get a deal or not? Can't wait to see what he makes of it.
