Someone Explain This (Gerber Command 1)

I noticed the Gerber Command 1 boot knife was listed for $150 to $200 in used condition.

I was given this knife, so I don't know anything about it, like when it was made or what it was purchased for new.

Why is the value so high on this knife? Has it become collectible or something?

The Command 1 was made from 1981 to the early or maybe mid '90s. All the older Gerbers are becoming pretty collectible, particularly the daggers. The Mark II is the real star in terms of collectibility, but the Mark I, various Guardians, and Commands are creeping up in price too. Your price is very fair, especially in that condition. In fact, if I weren't broke till payday, I'd jump on it myself.

Sorry but without a gold membership or higher we cant talk about value. Too many people before you have used it as a way to sell something without a membership. Hope you understand.
