And it wasn't me :(

I lost my Delica 4 Wave at school today... It was my first Spyderco, and now it's gone  Sigh, how could this happen...

The worst thoughts are:

1. Someone's going to start using it as a pry bar or screwdriver, now. :(
2. It's never going to be sharp again. :(
3. Some über lib picked it up, said, "OMG A KNIFE; THIS IS DANGEROUS!" and threw it in the trash :(

Same thing happened to me this semester.

The draw string at the bottom of my winter jacket looped around the pocket clip of my SOG flash II. I think when I stood up to leave at the end of class it pulled it right out. Didnt realize it until I got home :(

Better to lose that knife 1000 times over than a Spyderco ;)
hard to believe with all the previous hype about the "bayonet deep carry clip"

It was nice knife. Sorry for your lost. Luckily you didn't lost something spydie sprint runs that are now impossible to get, like White FRN delica. You still can buy a new waved delica, though its different ones you lost. Sorry again for your lost

Whew, I'll say, I "needed" a white delica and had to pay through the nose for it.

As to the loss. That sucks. I hope you can get a new spydie. As I understand things, the waved knives aren't long for this world, so, if you want to replace that knife specifically, better do it sooner rather than later.

Hopefully, what goes around, comes around, and the knife gods or whatever (if any) universal force you choose to believe in will see fit to send something back your way!

Hey guys I found a delica 4 I'm so lucky! I just can't beli.....nevermind;)

That sucks....I lost a $10 bill this year. I haaate losing things.

"OMG A KNIFE; THIS IS DANGEROUS!"
I know so many people like this that it's pathetic, IMO.
Most people I know give me a hard time about my knife/firearm/martial art interests and when some whacko starts to hassle 'em they want me around for insurance.
I'll never understand...

Bummer! I have been worried about losing my D4...Pocket clip on mine is none too tight..... Been lucky so far! Best of luck finding it! Not sure if you can go to the school lost and found and ask for your knife back though!

I don't currently own a spyderco yet so I cant relate to this,I feel bad for you man. just the other day I lost my case lockback, for a couple days and since it was raining out I had a lot of time to search around the house for it,Turns out it was outside in the gutter under some leaves and it had some rust...I cleaned it up okay but im still afraid I might lose it again because it doesn't have a pocket clip.

Checking the "lost and found" would be worth a try. A slim chance, but worth it.

Sorry you lost your knife, I lost my D4 wave too! Last summer I was working in an asbestos containment and somehow the clip got stuck on the plastic used to cover everything. I didn't notice it was gone because I had an endura in my front pocket that I used most of the day. When I got home and emptied my pockets my delica was missing. Luckily I found it the next day clipped inside a flap that I cut open to get into the bathroom. A month later I had the same delica clipped to my back pocket. I was moving some steel beams from one building to another all day in 3 different trucks. I didn't notice it was gone until I got to my own truck to go home but it was dark and I was too tired to go looking for it. The next day I checked in all of the trucks I drove and all around both sites. Some of the guys could tell I wasnt happy and helped me look for it. It never turned up so I guess either someone got a good knife or it got burried in the sand. It was a CE D4 wave cc#120v. Cash reward if found ;)

Dropped my flash II more than once, decided not to use the pocket clip any longer. Just doesn't grab well enough for every day use.

Yeah, hate losing good knives, however, I'd rather have them use it than throw it out.

So sorry man, what a shame.

I stopped carrying knives in my pocket or clipped to my pocket. I've had too many go missing that way. Now I only carry my higher value knives in a belt sheath.

Sorry for your loss, but how 'bout we not start liberal bashing? We're not all scared of knives and guns.

Who knows, maybe it will turn up in lost and found... it's worth a shot anyway.
