I got the new Extrema Ratio MF0(3" blade). Nice sturdy package, 5/32" thick blade, solid lock, blade fires open with the flipper. The low rider clip is nice.
Well designed blade that cuts well.
I just can't unlock it with one hand, my thumb hardly fits in the lock lug area (small hand). Can't push the lug far enough to unlock. I must use two hands and stick my index finger in the TINY opening to push and release.

Anyone have experience with the MF or the BF series? Help!
Take a look:

Italians apparently don't care about ease or speed in closing a knife ! My FOX made TOPS knife couild only fit a thumbnail to unlock . I solved that by using my Dremel to make a relief cut in the handle material. Perhaps you could do the same thing.

Yes, I could do that. IF I do cut the opening out larger, I think I will mill it out, I'm not very steady at holding one of those.
The only thing, the aluminum is "black" and my cutting will show up big time.:)

Check the Brownell's catalog. They sell gunsmithing supplies , among them products that will blacken aluminum. You'll never match the original finish, but you can make your cut a lot less obvious.
