Blade Width 1”-1.25”
Blade thickness .200 -.240
Blade length 12-15 inches
Handle length 7-9 inches
Total overall length not to exceed 24”
Integral guard not large but enough to keep the hand off the blade in a thrust similar to the one on the ceremonial knife 2
5160 or 9260 Steel preferred but will work with 1070
The pommel should be circular like on the number 2 ceremonial knife

The goal is to create a combat weapon capable of being used as a brush/camp tool in the swamps. My theory is that by combining in my mind what is a forward weight yet has the ability to stab and has enough handle that two hands can be used for extra power in a chop or swing if necessary. To get a basic idea of what I am wanting, look at Traditional Filipino weapons website. I am going for the blade of the Ginunting but I want a handle like the ceremonial knife 2.

Please PM me concerning time frame and pricing or any further questions

I know what you are looking for as I'm familiar with Filipino swords; the downward beak shape of the
Ginunting is a great design. It sounds like a great project. See my post on this forum ref, short sword, and my album for my knife and sword work. PM sent.
