I came home after running around for the last few days emptying my sister in law house to get it ready for sale since she passed away in the beginning of January of this year. So aside from the camaraderie on the forum it's been a terrible last 6 months.
Today's mail call didn't change it but the gift I received from another knife knut today put a huge smile on this old man's face.
Today in the mail was a mysterious package with no return address or note saying who it was from, (I later deduced who it came from) it was a Buck Creek Bull & Bear 4 blade Congress with bull horn covers. Here it is on the top with my other Congress patterns, the BFC Congress Jack and the GEC Northfield which was also a gifted knife from another generous member here at BFC. Like the others it will get plenty of pocket time and some serious use.
