There is some steel in the lineup that has really been feeling left out. At least he has a snail to keep him company.

I gave the Remora something to do, to take his mind off his grief:

I've had the 13 for over a year and hadn't really used it for anything, it worked perfectly cleaning these up for my Son's birthday supper, which is why I went shroom hunting in the first place. Friday night he gets T-Bones and Morels, pics shortly there after.

BTW BK13 will be added to his growing collection on Friday night as well.
Thanks for sharing my randomness.

nice morel collection. i look for these every year, and cannot find them.

other delicious mushrooms, yes, these? no.

Can I be your son? I like steak and would kill Murph to get some Morels.

Please?

:D

Then you could have morels and Bacon, yes Bacon should be capitalize.

But then u would have no more morels....unless u just cut off one leg. Then u could have Morels & Bacon...and a 3-legged pig to find MORE morels!

The Remora is a sweet knife!

I have cleaned 21 trout with mine so far this spring. The thing is like a scalpel and cleans up easy.

Thanks everyone, now y'all got me thinking about how to wrap a t-bone in bacon :D

This was actually the 5th time I've been out looking for these elusive shrooms this year. I wish I would have found more, cause Id dry some and send them out. This year looks like there isn't going to be many in my neck of the woods. If you can find dead and or dying elms with the bark peeling off your in luck, some heat and moisture is needed, but they just show up outta nowhere.

Can't wait to fire up the grill tomorrow night...

Nice to see people use the remora cos it seems to me like the BK-13 is the left out baby brother of the Becker family.

BTW, I wouldn't take Murphs life for mushrooms... his moostash maybe, but not his life :)

Hopefully I can find a few pounds in the next few weeks, so I can share the goodness..

My life is not worth morels, about 53 snails(small, garden variety), but not one morel.

I think it was Dirty Harry who said, "A man's got to know his limitations." Murph is clearly a man.
