There is also a lot of information about properties of materials and techniques, a lot of it cross indexed to suppliers. How he has tiime to do this is beyond me.

i'm not a taker but willard bro. saw mill, in n.j. is the best place i've ever been to for exotic woods. what's great about it, is the prices and sizes, you can buy almost any exotic hardwood. they have excellent quality altogether. but the prices will amaze you.

Do you have a website address for the Williard Bros.? I'm looking for some curly birch or masur. You wouldn't know if they stock any, would you? I found a source in Finland, but it costs almost to ship it as it does to buy it. Thanks.
