Something a bit unusual - a straight knife from Osborne (pic)

Greetings all,

It's not every day that you see a straight knife from high-end folder specialist Warren Osborne. He never did make many straight knives, and according to his web site, doesn't offer them at all any longer. I purchased this one in '89 or '90. It was one of a set of three, each with a different handle material. This one is maple burl. In overall design it's something of a contemporary tribute to the Randall Model 1 - and a fine tribute at that - fit and finish are excellent.

Roger - welcome to the forums. That is a very beautiful piece. Yes, it is kind of strange to see something that doesn't "bend in the middle" from warren but this is further testament to how talented the man really is.
 
Really nice piece, Roger. As you said, very similar to the Randall Model I.
