Something a little different.

Was just wondering if folks would enjoy maker threads. I enjoy multiblades from the SAK "Classic" to hand-mades and do not want this forum to turn into somthing that does not appreciate factory knives, but I thought threads with pics by individual makers would be cool.

We'll act on what the gang thinks. I have learned of a few new makers on the net and it would be great to learn of some more and always enjoy the stuff that the "long timers" make.

Great idea. My collection is factoy multiblades, mainly due to budget restrictions. I would like to hear about custom makers - in the hope than when I do get the cash together I can make a decision!
Was hoping the Knife of the Week threads would keep going longer they seemed to die out a little.

I would enjoy it. New handmade makers can get feedback on their products and forum members get to see and learn more about traditional knives.

I would like to see threads about makers and their knives. I've been trying to find a maker in my area (eastern Ky.) to make knives and maybe repair others. It would be a good place to brag and learn.
