This little guy just came in the mail. I have a couple of the folders but this was the first chance I'd had to aquire one of the fixed blades. It's pretty sweet, BOS ATS-34 and hair poppin' sharp. I'm a sucker for anything in a wood display box anyway.:)

I've been intrigued by the Koji folder but I recall the fixed blade.
Nice piece Dave. What'cha gonna do with it?

Is that box finished out real well? I am thinking about a few coats of tru oil on the one my 408 Kalinga came in.

Beautiful knife!!

The box is finished fairly well and has some great little hinges, but could have used a little sanding sealer before the stain and finish. It probably would benefit from some Truoil.

this one sounds slightly rougher than yours. Needs light sanding on the ends at least. Wasn't stained. Natural finish. Maybe I will someday... lol

Here's my three together. The burl is different in each knife and I would expect that.

Transplanted Texan here. We used that stuff for catfish bait back there. It never occured to us to eat it before it was deep fried! :D
