Something a little different

I made a cremains locket last week with the butt end of a shell casing mounted on it. The shells were fired over the grave at the military honors funeral. I set a garnet in the primer spot, and inset the shell end in the cremains vial. I didn't take any photos of that.
The family liked it so much, they had me make pendants for the two sons from two more of the shells - photos attached.

No, they wanted them to look like they did as shell casings. They have been tumbled, and are bright now, but soon will have the same tone as the cartridge casing.
