It's nice to take a break from the regular stuff and play around. .200 52100 clay tempered, 11 1/4" OAL. This has been staring at me for a while from my workbench. Just wrapped it up :D Next is Kydex............in a month or so :) I always loved reverse tantos.

i have several of yours and a Mr. Hartsfield.. unreal quality.. far above what i thought were good designers at BM, till I got one on yours.
 
Do a search on here and you will see Phill senior's work

Phill senior passed away a few years back and now his son Phil Jr is keeping his fathers craft alive

Phill Hartsfield was famous for introducing his own interpretation of primarily Japanese style blades.

He was a great man and a great maker
 
Of all the Hartsfields that caught my eye, it was his reverse tantos as well. Magazines, knife annuals............way back!!!
 
Love to see you doing fixed blades still Neil.........great stuff

Phill influenced a lot of makers and rightfully so
