I was just fooling around the other day and came up with a crazy idea about welding in a little 52100 with a little cable, this is what I came up with. whats you all think, sorry the picture isn't real clear.
The handle material is water buffalo.

Damn that's a grat looking blade Bill. About as nice as I have seen you make. I love the pattern. That second picture does a real nice job of showing it off. I think your mark looks great too.
 
Darn Keith, I don't post in the gallery very often and I didn't see that thread that you posted "something different from Ed Fowler" or I wouldn't have named my thread "something different". I hope no one takes offense at my thread title, if anyone does, please just ask the moderator to delete my post that would be alright with me. The only thing I was stateing was you don't see this mix of 52100 and cable very often thats all. Sorry :footinmou

To tell you the truth Bill I never even thought anything of it. I knew what you meant and i am sure that Ed would take no offence, so why should anyone else.
 
Just because I like the pattern of the steel on this blade so much, I am going to bring this knife back to the top just so that more people will get a good look at it.

Great looking knife. The mix of cable and 52100 is interesting and truly beautiful. I think it should perform very good too.
