This is a bowie (6 1/2" blade) I just finished for a good customer. It is a real departure for me from my usual fare.

The blade is Rados ladder damascus with the motif from the Alaskan flag inlaid in gold. Bolsters are Eggerling damascus; blue mammoth ivory scales with 14K gold pins, and a diamond in the ricasso.

I would love to see a close up of the blade. It certainly is a departure for you, and you should do more of them. I really think this is a great looking knife.

What he said times 2. Really love the style.

Well I was not sure what I would see when I opened this thread.

Thoughts of folders, daggers or a fishing rod :D were dancing through my pointed head.

Very nice work Don, all those materials and your design flow well together.
One of my favorites that I have seen of yours.
