I have a good friend that's loves auctions, he probably attends 4-5 auctions a month and when he comes across something he thinks I can use in my shop he buys it and brings it over never asking anything in return. So last fall I was showing him a folder I had just finished up for a cusomer and he mentioned that he really liked it. Immediately a light bulb went off in my head on how I could repay him for some of his generousity. We're going to have him over for dinner tomorrow evening so this should be fun. Mosaic W pattern blade and bolsters, ti liners and back spacers anodized gold, mammoth scales with 22 kt. gold plated screws.

Thanks for looking

Bill

Great to have a thoughtful friend, and great to be a thoughtful friend. I'm sure he will love it. Great looking knife.

Beautiful knife, and of course, the giving through friendship without expectations is the best thing of all.

Great looking toothpick. Wish I had friends like you. Thank you for your time and education in Atlanta.

Thank you all for the nice comments. Something came up Saturday evening and my friend couldn't make it to dinner, so I called him this morning and asked if I could bring something over to get his opinion on it before I sent it to the customer. When I got to his place I showed him the folder and asked if he throught the customer would like it or if I needed to change it some way. He fiddled with it a few minutes and said if your customer doesn't like it, then he's a fool. I told him I appreciated it and started walking away, he said here don't forget your knife, I turned and told him, I'm glad you liked it because its yours. O my gosh, I throught I was going to have to call 911, he start gasping and said what did you say. I told him again, it was his and he just stood in amazement. You would have throught I had just given him a new kidney. True friends are a treasure and this was definitely a day I will never forget the rest of my life. ;)

Thanks again everyone,

Bill
