Way different from what I usually make thats for sure. Might call this one "Lucky 13" just happens to be the OAL.
This little monster drew blood (My own) before I even put an edge on it. It has a full convex grind straight to zero on both edges. It will cut coming and going thats for sure. I had to wear gloves while doing the final finishing to keep from being cut again.
Specs:
Blade is 8" tip to front of guard
13"OAL
Tripple quenched 3/16" 5160 with a scotch brite working finish.
Polished Black linen micarta W/ Nickle silver pins.

"Hey you got a problem with that!!! Step out of the light and we'll talk about it";)

Whoa!!! That's neat!! It's always fun to break from the norm :)

Bob, its time to give up the spicy food...LOL...I love it! keep-em comin wild man:D

Normally I like your knives a lot Robert, but this one doesn't do a thing for me. I find the lines to be visually unappealing. My taste for more traditional knives is probably the reason for this. Oh well, I guess you can't please everybody all the time.

Keith,
I can appreciate your taste in good knife designs.
Actually the candor is always welcome.

This is just one of those designs on steroids that come to me in the middle of the night. I usually just keep them on paper and thats as far as they get. But I wanted to try it just to see if it would work. The Convex grind on this one really works well.

Not to worry!
I will be staying with my Bowies and regular fighter designs.

I have to say that I agree with Keith as to the aesthetics of this knife, BUT, she sure looks like she would be an able "performer" I think that this is a clear cut case of function over form. If I were a "back alley knife-fighter", this would be the one I'd be packing!
Keep those creative juices flowing though, over all a nice job!
