Hello all. This is a carving set that was made for a customer. He just specified the handle material and let me go for it. I have never made a set before but I think it turned out well. The fork was a lot of fun, some sarcasm there, but it did make me think. The set has 1084 for the blades, 416 stainless for the ferrules, and mammoth ivory for the handles. The ferrules have sloped shoulders, more fun. The custom case was made by Beau Erwin who goes by EdgarFigaro on here. It is walnut with crushed velvet for the lining. Tell me what you think. And sorry for the not great picture.

That's a real heirloom set there. I'd be proud to get that out for the holidays, and proud to pass it on to my children. Well done.

That looks like a terrific set Brion - the turkey doesn't stand a chance!

Thank you all for the comments, I really appreciate them. A heirloom set is exactly what the customer wanted. He plans to carve the turkey with it this Thanksgiving. Again thank you.

Brion -- you did a great job on that set. Very classic and looks like it will demolish anything coming in its path be it turkey, ham or beef. The Case is wonderful too. Nice to see this kind of thing from the makers.

Very nice Brion. I was waiting to get a look at it finished. You and Beau each did a great job. Lin

I've always wanted to make an heirloom set like this. Yours is so special and will be used for years to come and then passed down to the next generation.

Real nice set and the box sets it off. Your client will be happy.

Beautiful set, heirloom material for sure. Great Work!
I see one problem, if the customer has more than one kid they will probably be fighting over this set someday!

Beautiful set Brion, that ol' turkey will be so happy and honored to be carved with those, he'll probably crawl right up on the table all by himself. :D
