Something fun and different painting blade handles...

It was raining on and off today so I decided to paint the handles on some of my knives. Doing this on a budget, I found some very old acrylic craft paints my wife had left over from when the girls were little, so be easy on me on the colors. They were around and free (as far as no more real need for them).

Anyway, my youngest daughter (21, as our oldest sadly passed away last year) wanted to help, so how could I say no? So a little tape, paint, old brushes, and here's how they turned out.

Should look nice in the sunlight when they spin, but I figure it won't be long till handling, hitting each other, storage, etc.. wears it off. But I can always repaint!

Well, something to add a little color to them... :)

Very cool. Probably makes them a lot easier to find on the ground, too.

Try to seal them if you can so the paint doesn't chip off! :D
