Posted this on the Camillus Forum, but thought others might like to see it too!
This is what a CQB-1 can look like after being through the hands of danish custom knife maker Jens Ansø! :eek:
I asked Jens to give the grip a little texture and perhabs spice up the blade!!! :cool: Can't wait to get it home! :D

Sheesh, I dont know what it is, but that knife is just beautiful. I usually dont like "fancy" blades, but that is just awesome. I hope you are very happy!

Thanks! "Happy" is a slight understatement! :D Should be back with me on tuesday and I am seriously thinking about taking the day off to wait by the mailbox! :eek:

Man, MY slightly customized CQB-1 sure doesn't look like that!...That one is COOL!.:eek:.

Some may have seen this on another forum, but it was truly funny watching my wife when she saw the pics!

Her: "What the heck is THAT thing???"
Me: "That's the Camillus I sent over to Jens to get modified a bit!"
Her: "That's pure BS! You never had a knife that looked remotely like this!"
Me: (showing her "before" pic") "sure I do, looky here!"
Her: "I hope you realize that you are both very sick men!!!!"

I have no idea what she means by that! I feel fine and from what I know, Jens has fully recovered from the flu he had some weeks ago! Sick? Nah! :D :cool:

If he happens to have a "fighting tomahwk" to trade, he can have my CQB-1.:D.
 
Not only an evil knife, but someone really knows how to take great pictures! :D

Anyway, that texture on the handle is incredible. Never seen anything better. The blade itself reminds me of classics like the Hobbit Warrior or the Emerson Rhino -- don't get hooked on that back edge!

I don't know what you plan to use it on, but make sure it's legal to have so much fun before you do! :eek:

It was a user before Jens worked his magic on and it will be again! Legal? Nope! :D But this is Denmark and carrying anything apart from a sub 2,75" non locking, non one hand opening folder is illegal! (In puclic, that is. Fixed blades and larger, locking folders are legal for hunting, fishing and sports activites)

Seriously, I mostly carry larger knives in the woods, so it shouldn't get me into trouble! :D Although it does looks like it's asking for trouble, eh? :cool:

I EDC a "real" Ansø knife, that is the direct opposite from this one!

That is one hell of a neat looking knife, and the little Anzo looks like a great neckker.

Wow! My CQB made it home today and man, what a change! This thing is alive and feels so much better in the hand than before!
She (must be a she!) cuts like crazy (I'm in the doghouse for doing quite a bit of damage to the wife's favorite towel!!!) and the grip and balance is outstanding! Feels a lot lighter than before and much more like a fighter!:D
Of course in my excitement, I had to shoot a couple of pics:
