I am in love with these blades. I'm doing the paleo "diet"/lifestyle. That means all I eat is meat, veggies, eggs and a sparse amount of nuts. What that means is I eat fresh food for every meal every day - all meals have meat and veggies, so I am constantly cooking and using knives in the kitchen. Needless to say the walmart blades just weren't cutting it at all, and my roomie is scared of my BK9 :D

So I took some pics for y'all.

So far I use the top 3 blades the most, but the one on the bottom is nice for meat and such.

We had to use all of them of course even though it wasn't necessary

I forgot to take a pic when all the spices were added!

So anywho, if you need kitchen knives these ROCK!

Are you going to bring those to the gathering for some show and tell?

I need some new kitchen knives...and this isn't helping me! Grats on choosing paleo, I've lost about 45lbs in 3 months and my energy level has jumped.

Got to get me some Becker kitchen knives now..... loving the paleo/ primal blue print life style... lost 15 lbs the past 21 days and feel great... my diabetes is under control and my energy level its way up also..... paleo rocks!

Now we also need to see a photo of that meal after it's been cooked.
That looks awesome.

Great pics! Thanks for sharing these. The two santokus definitely get the most use in our kitchen. With such good vegetables available this time of the year, they're getting used constantly.

Ok, I'll bite, what's the paleo diet exactly? A link would be great, please. Good to see those knives being used as well.

In regards to the sucess those have had on the paleo/primal lifestyle, congrats! I too have completely solved my blood sugar problems, lost 15ish lbs and many inches due to this lifestyle.

To briefly answer your question murph, it's essentially cutting all processed crap and all carbs except for ones attained through fruits and veggies out. No pasta, no potatoes, no rice, no beans, no sugar. Depending on how hardcore you go, it can also mean no artificial anything, and no dairy as well. Primal is really awesome, however I've gone completely paleo, which is a more serious version. It's a great way to cure digestive issues, blood sugar issues, and help with weightloss and feeling healthy.

Thats the cook book I really love, because the whole entire first half of the book explains paleo in a way anyone can understand.

I am also a big fan of this website:

It's cool. But anyway back to the blades, they're shiny, slicey and sharp!

Sweet pics, those kitchen knives might be in my future. Are those chicken thighs? Most underrated part of the chicken IMO. Pics of the finished dish?

Any diet that involves meat with every meal sounds good to me. I have a huge garden in the summer and eat tons of veggies during the growing season but when fall rolls around I eat less and can feel a big change in my energy level when this happens.

I'm also loving the Becker kitchen knives. The handle ergo's are great. I have a few pretty nice kitchen knives but I keep coming back to these because of the great handles.

those look like great knives. i am sure they will be in my kitchen at some point. any type of block or anything for them available, or any plans for one?

I was thinking a magnetic strip. For now I just keep them in the box they came in until I move again
