Spyderco does it again. Another superbly crafted knife designed with a function-over-form mindset. Fits perfectly into my need for it - that is, a super thin, super light, teeny tiny knife with big performance, for the pocket of my 5.11 boot.

I normally hate tiny little knives like this, primarily for ergonomic reasons. However, I've got other knives of comparable size, and the Cricket is far superior. Super sharp out of the box, just like we expect from Spyderco. Rock solid lockup, too! I'm pleased. The Cricket is well worth the money.

Very nice, if i was ever going to get a cricket it'd be one a these. Looks like a perfect fit for a coin pocket.

When I read the title of the thread, I initially thought it was going to be a "Byrd" joke!

Beautiful little pocket knife!

I´ve seen the cricket in the catalogue, but I it doesn´t seem to get much attention here. However - seems to be a nice little knife. Maybe I can get my wifey somehow into Spydies ;) would be nice for her ... but for me too  :D

My wife has a few since she's fond of the pattern. Her favorite is the old FRN version since its lightweight and grippy.

I have had 2 of these over the years. One with stainless and the other FRN. Both were wonderful. Unfortunately, I seem to have an affinity for losing them. I really want another but other things are ahead on the list.
