Something missing in the lineup?

Camillus is quickly becoming my favorite knife company. I do feel that there is a gap in the CUDA folder lineup. We have the 3" blade EDC and the 5" blade Maxx. Now we need an awesome folder in the 4" range. :D I know about the pre Will Fennell C.U.D.A. folders but these dont seem to be in the same league as the post Will Fennell stuff.

Any plans for an awesome 4" folder?

I personally think Mr. Becker should make another Combat/Utility, but at a blade length of 5 inches (and hopefully OAL < 12") That would be such an excellent EDC FB for what I want it for....

How about a Becker designed folder?

Or I wouldn't mind seeing an EDC with a 4" blade.

A Becker C/U or Companion with 5" blade and 3/16" stock.

A 4" Arclite (preferably in a steel other than 420)

Madd Maxx in a spear point.

And yes, a 4" EDC (also in a steel other than 420)

I agree! But I'm thinking more in the lines of a 4.5" talon with a variety of good grade steels (thats a little less costly), i.e. 154CM. ...and in a full length up to 1/4 of the handle w/oxford leather sheath!

;)

I'm all for this one--maybe even take the grind higher or even give it a full flat grind.

And I think maybe a 4" mini-Maxx would be cool.

How about a Cuda Maxx 4.0 - D2 with a Darrel Ralph's 4" Dagger Blade!!! :p

I would buy that one without thinking twice. And a 3" AND a 7+" and so on! ;)

Jorgen

Yeah. I don't mind a C/U 5 with full (or almost full) flat grind!
Mr. Becker, I hope you're listening ;)

I have had the feeling hat they would want to do something with Joel Pirrela, since he does their catalogues, it just seemed to make sense.

I'd like to see an EDC with about a 3.5" blade, and a larger handle.

The current one is great, but I think it's a little small, and it doesn't fit my hand well.

Or at least someone to take a note...

Me and Mike, we finally agree on something...lol ;)

I think another DDR collab. is the way to go. Maybe a 4" Appogee in D-2, with the Tiatanium handles? PLEASE!!!!!! That would make me all warm and fuzzy, thats for sure.:D  :D

A five inch blade would be perfect for hiking on trails that pass through or near camp grounds. A smaller knife tends to be more widely accepted when crossing a well travelled path on my way to a less populated area. Blade lenght could even be 4.5" but the knife would still have to be comfortable to hold. Handle could be thinned but not to short. A handle no shorter than 4 and 3/4" and at least 1" across.
Basically a smaller combat utility 7, BUT how about rosewood handles
and a brown leather shealth. Thick quality brown leather not to tan but not to dark. One more thing, the blade thickness should not be changed. Just an ideal.

Mel;

I think a Notary will do just fine!;)

Glad to see ya posting again!:)

I see the C/U 7 as a replacement for the MMK 2. I'd like to see what they could do as a replacement for the Pilot's knife.
