Just wanted to share this one.

I made it for my father, who is going to spend a few days in the mountains next weekend, and i didn't want to let him go without a good knife.

#13

Length overall 9", blade 4.5", thickness 0.160"
D2, 60 HRC, satin finish.
Handle ist Wenge with red fiber.
Filework over the whole back of the knife.

I haven't used wood as a handle material a lot, but i am planning to do so!

Nice job. I realy like that filework. You don't see wenge used too much. I've used it and it makes a nice handle. Nice liner accent, too.

Your father will be proud to carry that knife. Very nice filework, finish, profile, handle,... Get the picture? I Like It! You can send the next one to me! :D Also, very accomplished for #13, you have the required patience and a good eye. Keep it going for sure. My #13 is nearby and nowhere near that nice.

Oh Yeah! That's my kinda knife. The finish, shape, size, everything.

Mind if I steel ;) the design!? (Less the filework. I could never do that.)

Thanks for the kind words!

@itrade: Go ahead. I dont think, the design is something special. Simple and straight.
The knife was planned as a user, but i also wanted to make it look less boring, so i spent at least 4 hours for the filework... :D

very nicely done, your father will be proud of it and show it more then use it probably, but when he does( use it) it should handle the task easily.
