Something new from a master of the craft

This one is forged from 1 and 3/4" W2. The blade was differentially hardened without clay and polished to show the hamon. The guard is 416 stainless steel with mirror polished scallops and copper and black G10 spacers. The handle material has been termed "snakeskin sycamore" and is stabilized, spalted sycamore.

As usual, the fit and finish is absolutely top notch. Nick has this stuff down pretty good :D. I cannot begin to do this justice with my iphone, but here are a few shots anyway.

Here's a video and few pictures that Nick took. I don't believe he has posted this one here, and these capture the detail better than my pictures.

This a great knife! Thanks, my friend!

Man Silver, that knife is all that. What craftsmanship/artistry. I glad you showcased his work. I'll be sure to look Mr. Wheeler up.

Work of art...handle material is beyond words!

What was the blade and overall length of this one?

I want to swear, but I have too many infractions already.

I don't reckon it gets much better than that!!!! Does it? What a great piece!!!
Cheers Keith

Great Knife Nathan, you can't go wrong with Nick or his knives!
