This is a little Something I just finished up. The first two were ordered by a customer and I like the design enough that I just might keep making them. It is loosely based off of A.G.s old Woodwalker. I modified the handle a bit and switched the blade to a wharny. The blade is a tad under 2". In paying respect to A.G.s design I have named this one the Woodsprite. Well the one in the photo is a Citysprite (G10 handles and screws). The Woodsprite will have wood handles and mosaic pins. Both models will have a leather pocket sheath, but Kydex rigs will also be an option. You can see by the picture what the blade material is (go figure:D).

SO let me know what you think.

Thanks

I don't have permission to vote, but I love it. My EDC is a Hammond designed CRKT Grey Ghost Mirage, w/ a 3" wharncliff plain blade and aluminum handle. I own a number of knives and it is, by far, the one that gets the most use. I even bought a second one when I learned that they were being discontinued.

I'd like to see a reputable custom maker like yourself add a wharncliff to their regular offerings.

I think it looks like a very good utilitarian knife. It would be nice to see the Woodsprite, as I am sure I would prefer the wood and mosaic pins.

I like the design well enough, but I'm with Keith here... I'd like to see the woodsprite version. It looks like a nice utility knife. What are you thinking wood-wise?

I think that I will like the Woodsprite better also. None have been made yet but I prefer the look of wood. But the guy who ordered the first two placed a large order for a bunch more Citysprites, so who can figure.

As with the rest of my stuff, the wood will vary with my mood. The only thing for certian is that it will be stabilized and will have mosiac pins.

From a call I got yesterday, I guess that one has already been used to clean some large game (deer I think). And he said it worked great for that job. Just seems small for the job, but in the right hands:confused:

It is a alot like the AGR woodswalker, but I think it needs some flair. I'd like to see a choil like the Spyderco Kiwi. Definitely need to trim down the hex bolts on the scales:eek: . I'd also like to see the hadle contoured a bit, it needs more "curve". If a small thumb ramp with slots could be added that would also help. That, in conjunction with the choil would give the user alot of blade control, and make it more aesthetically pleasing IMHO. Desret ironwood or stag scales (THIN scales) and I think you'd have a really nifty little pocket knife. Now, if you added a leather sheath, similar to AGRs, with a zippered compartment and a money clip, hell I'd even buy one! And I'm a gent's folder guy;) . The whole package would just create an irresistable "gadget factor" combo.
