I was talking to a co-worker today for whom I made a knife back in 07. He mentioned that it came in handy last season when he got his deer, especially when he was cutting through the breastbone. "Although the back is getting a little rough" I asked him what he meant and he said he was hitting it to go through the bone. I dare you to guess what he was hitting it with.... Yep.. a rock... I said if he was going to hit it, he should use a stick.. However, it is good to know that even after being hit by a rock through bone that it is still in good shape and he uses it (hard) every season.
