Anyone know if there's any current production knives that are similar to the Camillus Cuda Maxx 5.5? I have the A.G. Russell spear point Ti frame lock, but I really wish it was bigger!!

Here's a pic of the Camillus:

The Darrell Ralph HTM line of 5.5 Madd Maxx's are available in manual and assisted opening.

Those are great! Except for the price. I'm looking more for the $150 -$250 range.

Yeah, I think you're right. I'm wondering if there's anything similar to it that is cheaper. I love the look of Protech Godfathers but can't seem to find anything like it that's not an auto.

The Camillus Maxxes are big, tough knives. The Godfather is relatively fragile. There might be a cheapie somewhere like the Camillus, but i can't think of one.

I have a Camillus Maxx bowie and a Madd Maxx dagger. Serious steel. :)
It would be nice if someone reissued the Camillus bowie, at least.

You can't get a cheap titanium framelock, especially a BIG one. Cold steel Voyagers are good big knives for the price, and the triad lock is maybe even stronger than a famelock.

The knife doesn't necessarily have to be titanium. I'm not even picky about the type of lock or that it's a bullet proof knife. I'm more interested in a decent quality knife that looks like the Cuda Maxx or the Godfather, but isn't an auto and doesn't cost as much as a Sebenza.

AG Russel spear point folder if you don't mind a really small version of that.
OTHERWISE
save your pennies and wait about a a year or more for a custom 5.5...
my thoughts
anyways.

What about a Cold Steel http://www.coldsteel.com/tilite.html
Classic stiletto, pretty solid design, 4" or 6" blade styles, aluminum or Zytel handle, may still have titanium handle on a 4".
