Ok, I was just looking at several E-handles I have and noticed that they do not have the rear talon hole. Specifically, one Desert NO-E, a polished spine BA-E . My other SH-E has the talon hole as do the BM-E's.

Do any of you have this? These are all factory mods as these knives have not been moded at all, although you never know I guess. Quite unusual.

I thought the BAE was the only ergo model produced without a rear talon hole. All of the ergos own have the rear talon holes except the BAE. Maybe you have custom or variant models.

yes, the desert NOE is a variant I guess with the clip and the SHE was hand moded by osmeone else. Issue solved

Well here is a wonderful op to show off my new NO-e. Was a good trade from a great guy and I cant wait to get her in my hands. :D  :D

Oh and no talon hole - must be varient - clip point and all.....;)

That is a Clip Point Desert Outlaw, one of 14, in it's from-the-factory configuration. IMO it may the best E-Handle Busse ever made. (I vascillate between it and the ZTNO for this honor.) There were also seven of these with a recurve blade, and five "triple grinds" with a more intricate swedge. all came from Busse with the butt grind.

Other factory E-handles with the butt grind include the Euro Caretaker, not commonly available in the U.S. but sold in one Extragavanzaaaaaa, and the BA-E, already mentioned.

All of the other buttless E-handles I have seen were custom jobs.

Oink....Oink-Oink!! :D :D :D

Let us not forget the Game Warden-E, the one with enough INFI to make at least six of the later .140 models.

I have to agree, that it was probably the best e-handle ever made. Well, with the exception of the MOFO's, which are still the ultimate fast knife, bar none

Enjoy the NO-E Turner, ask these hogs if their NO-E is still brand new. Something about taking the first cut with a knife really makes it worth while. I have already broken in the HR. Thanks a lot, take care
