I bought one 2 months ago, and now it has knocked away every other knife I own for my attention, it looks good, cuts well, and is so light I can clip it to the neck hole on my shirt and forget about it to panic a little while later thinking I've lost it(Happened twice!).
However, I believe this is not good my my knife interests, for example, I bought a Boker Plus Titan Drop, and within 3 days to my somewhat horror, It was placed on my computer table to stay there to this day, because now I've found out that the Centofante 3 is just about the perfect folder for me in almost every way except for my bias against FRN handles, which it has eroded away.
Looking for 75$ and lower, may look slightly higher if it is exceptionally worth the price.
-Blade stock is not thicker than 3MM, I bought several 4MM and thicker bladed folders and I can not get used to the increase of friction in comparison to the Centofante 3's extremely thin 2MM blade, the hardest thing I cut is packaging cardboard, and I microbevel anyways.
-Balance is good, want balance around middle of overall length, don't want overly blade heavy or handle heavy.
-Blade steel isn't all that important as long as it isn't noticeably terrible, I love to sharpen anyways.
-Weight doesn't matter as long as balance is good, as well balanced knives to me always seem lighter than they are.
Hope you guys can find a bunch of options for me, thanks!
