:eek:Well not much going on so i will put some pics up! Keith this will give you something to look at buddy. After some of the awesome knives we have seen latley these probably wont look like much but here goes!
Now this first one and dont laugh is one i made for me a test knife. Just took it to a 320 finish and put on a quick guard and some old maple for a handle.
Its 1095 11 inch blade, may not look like much but it is a cutting mother, rope 2x4 twice and cut the side walls out of 4 tires [DONT ASK]:D will still shave.

The last one is an order for a lady 8 inch blade spalted red maple handle.

The Woman that got that Red beauty must be very happy. Awesome blued fittings!
Sure is a nice "Beater" you built!!

I like that one. The double hamon is just plain showing off some mad skills. Very cool. Where did you get the red maple that is true red. Mine comes out pink.

Thanks for the complements guys! Bruce i get most of my wood from a friend of mine he has alot of it really goood stuff but i think he is about out of the red stuff! Once again thanks for the kind words everyone!:D

Thanks for putting the pics up, Billy.
The big one does look like a cutting beast.
Nice hamons on both and the red maple looks very nice with the blued fittings.

Doug

Thanks for thinking about me. It's great to get to see such a nice couple of knives. I don't think I've ever seen a maple handle dyed quite that red, but it looks very good.

You are welcome Keith the red handle came out real nice it has a super glue finish it really brings out the color of the wood. And the black lines running into the blued fittings really works nice.
