Something unusual I believe (polished blade Umnumzaan content)

I realize modding a CRK is for many not popular, but I must admit to being very fond of the "murdered" Tanto Umnumzaan I bought in the Exchange a while ago. However, just tonight I made a really cool discovery about it that I totally overlooked up until now. I just assumed the blade had been reground, but it appears I have a CRK original polished blade! I'd be interested to know how common (on uncommon) those are/were? I don't ever recall seeing one before. CRKologists, what say you?

I meant a factory polished blade, not the tanto part. I have another tanto myself, but I've never seen a polished blade Umnumzaan before.

I guess that's why I missed initially; I've never seen another polished blade Umnumzaan. Frankly I'd have picked another to pimp, but nonetheless it makes this one even more unique as is.

If you google polished blade tanto unnumzaan, you will find an old product listing from Blade HQ (out of stock of course). This is also interesting as I thought the Tantos were TNK exclusives.

Interesting indeed; I checked the two I have and they are a little different from each other but I don't think the regular umnumzaan is polished, it would say it in the box, I assume

Maybe they used a finer kind of stone media to tumble them? I don't know but I do like your knife a lot, very unique.

^ Looks like a S30 (heavier stonewash) and a S35V (finer stonewash) to me.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. The cards say s35vn both made in 2015, anyways, sorry didn't mean to divert the conversation. The OP's blade is a great looking one, like it a lot.
