This was a special project I worked on this weekend. A tanto style linerlock in CPM154 with a chisel ground tip and edge:eek:. The blade is 3.75" long and .140" thick. Closed length is 5". The liners are .060" titanium, G10 scales and backspacer, Ti pocket clip, teflon washers. Comments appreciated.. Thanks!

Paul said it.... WOW.

Just WOW, you are really getting good at folder Ray!

Incredible

Ray, you're an exceptionally skilled knifemaker in that your blades are impeccably clean. When knifemakers cross boundaries and apply their skill to new niches, that's how the industry expands. I'm no fan of tantos but that's a sweet little blade.

Wow! Really nice work, Ray:thumbup: That folder is a really nice piece. I always like seeing your mark on the blade spine. It looks so crisp, you get such a good deep etch.

Ray, IMHO, tip-up carry is THE way to go.

This knife looks very nice, sir!!!

:DFunny you say that because I just tapped holes so I can put the clip on the other side to carry tip down. I EDC a Spyderco Military and really prefer tip down. I tried to use this one tip up but I just couldn't get myself to like it. At least now it can be carried both ways. :)

Thanks guys for the comments..

Thanks guys!
I just turned it into a tip down carry. I also took a little off the front part of the scales next to the ricasso. Here's the a new picture.

I don't usually go for tanto blades, but if I were to choose one, this would be it.

Having had a chance to play with it today, it is very nicely executed. And very very smooth opening, too.
