I have a Bug out Bag and actually a Bug out J#$% Cher*&$@. I had the Mint tin for a while but it was awkward. I must confess to being a little shy about Sheeple asking why I have an Mint tin but no Mints. I am a tobacco addict so I use the Snus that comes in a can. Finally, it dawned on me that this might just give me the answer to having at least the minimal amount of stuff on me all the time without being thought of as a 2012 believer. These cans fit easily into the pocket of your Wranglers and no one pays a bit of attention to it. The lid snaps on really tight and the inside can be polished with a little Flitz and time to act as a reflector. Cutting down a magnesium bar with striker (Be Careful!)makes that fit as well as some kitchen matches and a couple of band-aids. A little duct tape and a single edge razor blade also fit with a small roll of 20 lb. Spiderwire fishing line and a button compass. I'm sure that there are lots of other items that each of you would rather put in but the idea is I have it all in that little tin that does not scream "survival kit". With this and a Leatherman Wave and my EDC of the day I can at least have some comfort while getting back to my regular gear and my vehicle. Sorry I don't have pictures but you get the idea. Better to have a little gear on you all the time than no gear.

I have seen several round tin PSK or if your worried about what others think with the rectangle tin find a cell phone holder that you can house the tin in and still be in vogue

then people will start asking: "how come your phone is still on your pouch, but you are talking on it"...

I'd say... who cares what others think about your tin box? I've seen girls who put big mint bottles in their purses and noone says anything... :D

Yeah but then again no one says anything about them having a purse but when I a guy straps on a courier bag or the like they get razzed.:D

I'm a snuser too! :D

You using the Marlboro/Camel stuff or the good Swedish stuff?

I found the easiest way to cut a magnesium bar.... I baton through 'em with my RAT 7, no edge damage, that stuff is soft... you may have to re-glue the flint.

PM me or lave me a message if you want to talk snus or are interested in the real deal, there are a few websites and the price to quantity and quality blows Camel snus out of the water.

I use snus tins to hold two tea lights with matches.
Zombieland was melting/cutting candles to fit in tins.
I mentioned snus for mini PSK, just too mini for some??

Guys at work carry CO and personal cells = two pouches on belt.
Plus the multi tool pouch, knife & scissors pouch.

I snus all of the above as well. Love the tins for stuff the slightly bigger size. the camel tins are my BOB fire container now with a bic and some tinder.

Interesting...I don't have strangers asking weird questions about what i have in my pockets.

And all my friends already know I carry piles of 'crazy' stuff, so nothing startles them anymore. (I mean common, I once produced a marble on demand)

I don't worry about the mints tin :D
