I just received this in a trade recently. I really think its a neat knife. It was made by Camillus in 2000 (according to the tang stamp) for Case. It is a camper with pliers. BTW the pliers are totally useless. They can't grip worth a dime. Anyway I just wanted to share a couple photos.

yeah...pretty cool alright..its a shame that the pliers dont work though...my friend just came back from a motor bike solo trip across the world-he bought me back a Victorinox...he knows about knives-what I know about Space Shuttles...but he chose well...and they have scissors ...I thought they would be useless....boy was I wrong :)
Cool knife, and thanks for showing us Ash

I love victorinox knives. No wonder they have been around so long. Great knives. I thought these pliers might work but I can't find anything there good at except looking kinda neat on this slippie.

Great knife; I've got a soft spot for the old Scout & Camp type knives. I think the screwdriver blade is my favorite blade on each one of them. (I'm amazed at how many houses we've lived in where the electrical wall plate screws are buggered up from being tightened with dinner knives. The screwdriver on all of my utility type patterns seems to fit that type of screw perfectly.

I'm curious - how does the tang stamp indicate Camillus? I have a regular Case Camp knife here (four blade) that looks very similar to yours. It has similarities to some of my Camillus knives, to be sure. (How the blades operate, the look & feel of some of the parts, the finish on the back, etc.)

Always wanted one of those, but mainly for the pliers. Cool and bummer at the same time. ;) (Hey Ash...long time no talk...crazy hectic, got a job yesterday!)

@Chris: I think Ash just meant that it was made by Camillus for Case (as were all of this pattern, including the regular 4 blade version IIRC) and has a 2000 Case date code.

And for what it's worth, it's not a knife you'd ever see in my pocket either - too much of a chunk, too many things in addition to the blade to lug around that I'll seldom if ever use. Still neat though.

I've got one of those, and I'd have to agree, the pliars don't work very well. It is very thick and heavy. And the spring for the main blade is pretty soft.

That is exactly what I meant. :D
