Goodbye logo and hello this....

Yep, I removed the AG logo last night.
With the help of a razor-blade and a little dab of Maas metal polish, she's even more beautiful than she was before.:)

Very nice, allenc. That blasted logo is keeping me from buying one. So, you used the razor to remove it and the metal polish to tidy up, I presume?

You presume correctly, my friend.

At first I tried this "earth friendly" bio-degradable goop remover, which did nothing at all.
And then I tried my wife's nail polish remover....again, nothing.
Finally, I used a brand new razor-blade and was able to remove virtually all of the logo, but there remained a visible "ghost image" of the logo.
So then I used the Maas metal polish and a cotton-ball to remove the "ghost image".
From start to finish it only took about 45 minutes.
And had I skipped right to the razor-blade it would have only taken about 15 minutes (I was being very careful).

I must say, I'm rather pleased with the results and I don't miss the logo one bit.:)

I followed this same process without the razor blade. I used testors model paint thinner, It took a little elbow grease but it came off!
I love the Cabelas AG knives... (even better with the logo gone ;) )

Nice job, and pics!!!

Tizzy...

I had the same concern. As it turns out, it started to grow on me.
But I still got a 110BP (Bass Pro) CPM154 Rosewood.

Can't find a pic of my 110AG Stag, but I have left the logo on my 110AGs'.
