So last night i went to Home Depot for some supplies. I ended up finding some really nice, almost .05 pure copper flashing in a 24" strip. I asked how much, and they said free since it was dented in one spot. I bring all my stuff to the cashier, and it comes to about 85$.

On the way home i get food and a 10$ scratch ticket.

At this point the sky opens up and good fortune begins....

I scratch the ticket, winning a Texas Holdem prize pack, so ill be getting about 650$ worth of poker merchandise and a 1/600 chance at ten million bucks.....not too bad, right? I cash it in and get another. 100$ winner! So now ive recooped my Home depot visit, plus alot more.

I get home, quickly re-HT my folder blade that had a soft tang and it comes out of the quenchant almost clean.....very little scale at all. This allow me to clean it up without affecting my lockup. Woo hoo!

I then start on my KITH, and everything just goes smooth as glass. I solder my buttcap and it holds, etching goes well, no drilling mishaps, i later find that the hunk of junk i was using for my guard is actually some spare chunk of 1/4" nickel silver, which was a pleasant surprise.....in all, things just went my way last night......ever have nights like that?
