have just recently gotten into 'collecting knives' and have bought a few and its addicting as i guess ya all know - have been thinking about ordering a kershaw torsion assisted ken onion knife - almost ordered 1 fri night - well was gassing up my vette today and a guy walked up and said he noticed the folder i had clipped to my pocket and asked me if maybe i wanted to buy a knife? well maybe i said and he pulled a kershaw onion blackout out of his pocket, said he was out of gas, broke,from out of town, and would take $20 for the knife - checked it out, some honest wear but prob 90%, and no blood, etc on the blade lol - anyway i bought it, and took it home to show my wife, and she said "ya shoulda offered $15" - oh well - am very happy w/my new purchase though .......it cleaned up great- what a deal - hey and the guy was happy too

The right place at the right time .
I dont own any Kershaws but I did play with the torsion assisted knife the other day. I knew what was coming before I opened the blade but it was still a surprise the first few times.
Pretty high tech for me. Ill stay with my Sebenzas and Randalls. Nice and slow and safe for this old man.
But more importantly it appears we do have something significant in common. Check out my forum name. 1995 deep purple metallic coupe, 21K, A+++ condition. Second in my life only to Mrs. Purple95.

hey purple '95 yes we do - got a '95 LT1 white/grey w/auto 33,000 miles A++++ condition never been in the rain - bought it new in '95 - does yours have the run flat tires? NTB broke the left front sensor in the wheel and chevrolet has been trying to get me 1 since june '00 - 4 sensors, all different #'s, and the left front is the only 1 not available, my luck as usual(still can drive it but the 'checkLTPW sys light comes on) - anyway love her other than that, LOL - turned a 14.02 at track in 110 degree weather, and a best of 13.66 in the spring, low 70's - pure stock cept for k&n and cut out airbox - love those vettes - have been thinking of trading in for Z0-6, but prob just keep my '95 just not crazy 'bout C-5's - never liked the C-1 or C-2 or C-3 so maybe the C-4 is the 1 for me - have a good 1 bud
