Good deal dad! I recently built one for my daughter's 10th B'day, per her specifications of course!

Very nice. Mine are a little too young for steel but I made them both a wood knife a couple months ago. They pack them everywhere lol. She'll have something to treasure forever.

That's a heck of a lot nicer than the first knife my dad gave me. That sheath is pretty spectacular as well.

AWWW! She's a cutie!
That's a great knife, and I like the personal touches on the sheath too.
Darcy:)

I'll have to show my daughter this thread. I'm sure she would love a knife with hearts and butterflies on it as well. That's a great little project.

Very cool! Something about that green & white handle makes me think it should have an elvish or fairy theme. :D Now start making some memories with it!

Hope ya don't mind, but as long as we seem to be on the subject, here's the knife I made for my daughter last fall.

I remember you showing that one. It's very nice indeed.

She's loving it. Every meal that there's bigger pieces of meat she asks for permission to use her knife to cut it.

She's also gotten my son (8 years old) interested enough that he's expressed desire to own one. So next up I'll be making one for him.

What a great way to share your love of the craft. I'm sure this will be a life-long keepsake as well as a much loved tool.
