Wow, still very sharp since 1973- I wonder if the arrow is actually from one of those t-shirts that says

Stupid
:p

I have several 1973's including the timeless classic 110 ecolite:D(bottom of the 2-upper with arrow to left must be a 1974;)

Is there a problem with having an old knife with a new blade ? If there is I am in trouble.

The unfortunate thing is someone is going to buy this and feel like they have a antique, till they walk through walmart and see the same one!

Not at all, but by the description, it appears that this is a brand new 2009 110 that someone is trying to make out as a vintage knife. He hasnt done any research to see what the symbols mean or is deliberately misrepresenting the item. So now some unknowing person will buy it thinking he got a real find.

Easy fix for that, send em a message and tell them they are wrong. Point them to the date code chart.

What part of 1973 didn't you understand

What part don't you understand?? He has a 2009 knife and listed it as a 1973. Need a picture??

One of my favorite giggle knives is the one I bought with this discription "Mint condition except for scratches"

I did and he has completely revised his listing. He says he bought it at a gun show/swap meet and the seller gave him the "information" that he used in the listing and title.

You would be up all night if you were going to tell all sellers on the bay about their erroneous listings. Some "errors" are an attempt to deceive and others are just not knowing about what they are selling.

:D I don't have much else to do!

I saw one recently that said "Excellent Vintage Condition."

That's a whole new condition to me.

Puzzled.....I passed.

Exactly, so why try to become informed about something you have a business interest in . This lowers the integrity of the entire business procedure . To a fly-by-nighter type who doesn't care to be informed about his/her products . Just sell it for a profit and do it again . If he cared he'd take a knowledgable persons word on it and change the description . So, they don't want to be honest and management of that organization doesn't care either . Just sell it, we can't watch everyone . DM

This seller seemed genuinely dismayed that he had described it wrong. At least he changed the listing right away. His first mistake was taking the word of the guy HE bought it from.;)
