At least this is the best news that's been forthcoming for a long time. Maybe, just maybe, Jessica is on the road to recovery.:)

Hi Daddy
Jessica is doing better and her depression is not as severe but she is still frustrated she is still vomiting and she is still draining in the one abscess and still draining out her belly button.......running low grade fevers and wont eat or drink.....except for a few bites here and there then she throws that up usually........she has lost 12 lbs and is tired a lot....still sleeping quite a bit but at least she talks to us and not screaming like in the hospital.....The health care company has been very accommodating when I call I get someone or they call me back within 10 or 15 min usually very quick......they provided us with a small fridge to keep her antibiotics in and that has helped immensely cause they take up quite a bit of room and of course she has her big bags of TPN that she gets for 12 hours at night......She gets antibiotics at 6 AM, 12 noon, 2 PM, 6 PM 10 PM and Midnight and gets her TPN starting at 8 to 8 the next morning.....I also have to take her weight daily temps and blood pressure and blood sugar. She is still on the insulin at night and will stay on it till she gets off of the TPN.......I am going back to work 3/5 we will split the meds I will do the daily and he will do the nightly......He has done well with her and that makes it easier on me for once...I just hope she gets well here or I will feel bad but she is doing better here so far.........

Well have to get to bed it is now 1 AM and I have to be up at 6 for her morning IV she gets 3 different ones at 6 and they run for 30 min each......She is on Fortaz, Gentamicin and Clindamicyn.....don't hold me to the spellings my brain is asleep...........lol...........I will try and update when I can.........

Love you lots and lots and lots.............

Baby Girl

PS....The home health care delivers supplies once a week and visits on Monday to take blood and check her over....but if I need something I just call and they will deliver it as soon as possible....If I need them to come see her they will but I have not needed that so it is going good for now........

Smoke works.

I'm going to leave the battery out of the smoke alarm for a few more days...maybe we can clear up some of these other problems as well.

Stay strong, Yvsa.

It's good to hear she is improving even if only slightly.
It might be one or more of the atntibiotics that are making her nauseus. Once they have done their job and are lowered/discontinued she might start eating and keeping it down.
I'm glad to hear that the home health services are so prompt and accomidating.
Continued good thoughts and prayers

yvsa,
my friend i am glad she is doing a little better--prayers from this old cowboy keep comong :) :) :)

I'm happy for Jessica, though saddened she's not feeling good.

I'm happy for Stella that her daughter is better though it's probably tearing her down when she needs strength for her own battle with cancer.

I'm happiest for you, my brother, that there is improvement for your family. I pray that things may work out for each of you in a good way.

If any of you must walk west to find surcease, I'll be saddened but glad for your sakes.

Smoke will continue for your strength, and to remind you that love is stronger than anything we must bear.

Rusty speaks the words that I wish I could find. Well said.

Take care my friend. Smoke and prayers for all of our sick and hurting from North Carolina continue.

Steve
