Here's a weekend project I had on my list, my son has this Frost, yes i said it, Frost knife he received from his uncle, with a finger hole. Well he wanted it made a little better, so we went from the 9" overall and bumped it up to 16.5 overall length. all we had was some 1/4" thick 5160, so we did all the profiling and grinding and put on some matte black Duracoat, (good stuff by the way) but this blade only had about an hour and half of dry time so I didn't expect it to last very long, we tossed on some cheap dymondwood, and proceeded to test the blade out, I told him if it holds up we will make a good handle, and clean it back up, now it looks like i have to finish this thing next weekend...
