new show on the discovery channel starting wednesday january 26 @ 9pm.
for us gun knuts :D

they started advertising the show during commercials recently. should be good.
figured i'd pass it on
 
i'm not a gun nut, i don't even own a gun. This is a knife forum, maybe you have the wrong place?
 
The General Forum is for discussing knives, not TV gun shows.
Post it in Community if you want.

No harm, no foul. I think most knife guys are gun guys too. I am!
In fact, I spend most of my money on guns and knives (and booze and women) -- the rest of it I just waste.

Depends on the skill of either involved more than just distance. When im carrying a gun, I also have my EDC with me. I know in my case I can get a shot off with my gun faster than pulling my EDC, getting it open and getting within striking distance of an attacker. With my LCR or S&W MP340, I would not even have to clear my jacket pocket. Shoot through the pocket. Also within 21 feet, I can hit center mass shooting from low ready.
 
Now, hold on a minute! This could very well be the right forum for the OP's post!

Here's what I'm thinking: Say I'm watching this gun show, and I'm stropping a couple of Barkies as I watch? Now, if I don;t know about the new gun show, I might not see it, and the Barkies might not get stropped!

Let's think about this a little, before we go asking the Mod to move it. Hmmmm.....

Thnaks for the heads-up Dug. Maybe it's the new season of "Top Shot"? (I'm aslways stropping a blade or sewing a sheath during that show!)
