I was in Estes Park, CO today. Walked into Colorado knife company shop. Had some cool knives, asked how much the Ka-bar big brother was,

It's been awhile so I'm not sure I'm remembering correctly. Don't most people in Estes Park have more dollars than sense? Pun intended.

Dont be surprised, knives in this part of the world are about that expensive...The people at my local surplus store were selling (or attempting to) things like regular production BK-9s for $250, $225 for a BK-7 and like 100 bucks for the HD warthog. Things in the eastern part of Australia are a little better though, BK-9 is down to a little more managable $100.
