Soo, I got my BK9 delivered today....but...

It didn't come with a BK11 as I was expecting...was it a limited time offer sort of thing or did I get screwed? Ordered it from Amazon...which may have been mistake #1...but it shipped fast.

I think you mean the BK13 and not the BK11. Also that was a limited time offering where the BK9 came with a BK13 from China, now the 13 is produced here and sold separately.

What Wider said. The new ones still fit in the sheath though. You can get them for $19 average, or, you can hang around for a Gold membership drive, or contest. We do lots of contests.

Sorry to hear about the knife mix up. I also ordered a BK-9 thinking it came with the 13 (as the advertising picture showed) and it didn't. I asked the (very popular site) to change the product picture as it was misleading and I was pretty upset at the trickery.

Look forward to the updates on the knife though.

Does suck when you expect something and get less ... doesn't it? Even if it's a $19 knife.

9 is a GREAT blade though. As earlier directed, go beat the snot out of it (big fun)

Then rip that puppy apart and mod the $hit out of it !

I upped to gold about a week ago? 10 days? Something like that. Still checking the mail everyday and looking longingly at that empty holder in my BK 9... Still. Going out and cutting my way through the forest seems to ease the pain. I'm off to do that.

And honestly, I'm not super upset about not getting the smaller knife. It would have been nice, but it's not that big of a deal...I was really only wondering.
