I don't know if he MEANT to do it this way...and I just didn't put 2 and 2 together. But I posted a pic of my BK2 rig on Facebook yesterday with the matching altoids tin pouch. Looking at the picture, and the size, suddenly I was like [LIGHTBULB!]. I wonder...

I always wondered what made him do the belt loops on the tin pouch lengthwise. Maybe it was just easier (It was his first time making one). BUT....You CAN mount the pouch on the BK2 scout sheath, via the snaps. Observe!

The straps on the pouch were juuuuuust the right size to interlace with the belt loops on the sheath.

Now that is a nice set up. Beautiful leather work as well. I like kydex but prefer leather.
