I bought an ESEE 3,4 and 6. The ESEE 4 I plan to use solely for when in on the river or at the lake fishing and the ESEE's 3 and 6 for when I am in the woods. From everything I have read and the videos I have watched ESEE makes a BADAZZ blade and their CS and warranty is second to none. I WAS going to buy a SR RMD Proto but I was able to get the ESEE 3 & 6 for less than the same price as the RMD proto. I have some sheaths and handles to make now :D

Great knives! I need to get me an esee 3.....i see you live in rockhill. I lived in rockhill up until about 3 yrs ago. When I lived there I worked at a bike shop off red river rd. I miss rockhill.

Awesome, come on back then. Did you work at the bike shop right around the corner from Walmart?

I've owned all 3 and they are amazing knives. I recently sold the 6 since i have several other knives in that size, but im kind of regreting it.

I probably use the 3 the most. Its the perfect size/weight for hiking and EDC. I bought the 3 and 4 at the same time to EDC the 3 and use the 4 for camping and outdoor use, but seems i grab the 3 even for camping.

One thing i didnt like much was the 3's sheath so i picked up a kydex sheath for it. Sounds like you have that part covered already.

Great knives. I'd return the 4 and 6 and get a Junglas.

The combo of the 3 and Junglas is just about unbeatable.

I too have an ESEE 6 and later purchased the upgraded sheath as well. I plan on purchasing the 4 soon.

I'm quite proud to share the same state as Mr. Jeff Randall. ALABAMA, ya'll!

Nice! I EDC the 4 myself.

It is the perfect size in my opinion. I hope you enjoy the blades! I would like to get the 3 just to compare it with the 4, but I am sure I would hurt myself with the glass breaker. However, the glass breaker seems it would be handy.

I am sure they will be more than capable blades. I cant remember what the width of the esee 4 is but if its less than 3/16 i am sure it would make a great bushcraft knife. I have always been a fan of thick blades but decided to try something different this go around. I am also in the process of spiffing up my CS Trailhawk so i should have alot of my outdoor bases covered. I would like to give my son a knife and am considering giving him my Izula but im not sure i want to part with it yet. I leave my izula in my tacklebox as it fits perfectly so i may just give it to my son or get him his own.
