Normally I would congratulate you on your first Becker and then try to jokingly scam you into sending it to me, but this is truly a great first, so I'll lay my antics to the side.

Congratulations on a great first, but I'm sorry to say that it is a fake and will have to have you send it to me so I may track down the counterfeiter. :D

Old habits die hard? :p

Congrats. I have a Camillus BK10 coming in shortly. I sold my BK10LE.

action shots are on the way. we are currrently experiencing technical difficulties so while you are waiting Mr. Conway Twitty will take it away lol

On a more serious note here are some action shots. Sorry these aren't in the same post as the last one but I was having issues editing the post to add in the pics.
I started off with some batoning and split the whole pile there ( Don't act like you're not impressed ) lol. She was great except for the swedge destroying my hammer stick. I tried to baton through one of the biggest pieces I had but she didn't have the length to do it. Then I moved on to attempting to make feather sticks. I need alot more practice at it cuz they all turned out kinda thick could have been I needed to use a smaller/drier piece of wood but was more then likely I need some more practice. All in all I love it! The only mod I see myself doing at this point is creating a spot for me to use a fire steel with because I couldn't throw any sparks to save my life.

For sparks, try using the back corner of the blade by the choil. That works for me on my 10. I run the firesteel right up againt the choil and the corner of the sharpened blade does the trick.

Congrats on a might fine blade!
Nice to see you putting it to some use.
I'll own a 10 someday...someday.

I'll have to give those spots a try later. Thanks for the tip
