I did do the back aswell, but my phone is being temperamental so no pics yet. On that note this model has the lbs but its blank, no CR logo. It also has the older style jimping.

I'm digging it :thumbup:
 
Looking very good, I might gather the balls and try to do it to my Zaan. I think the Startac looks exceptionally well with this treatment :thumbup:
 
I really dig the finish on it, especially on the Startac. I'm pretty pumped! :thumbup:
 
Daaaayyyyyuuuummmmmmm!!! That looks AMAZING and makes me want one..... Is that what you sent to me to bronze anodize? So how did you do it? Sand Paper or Scotch-brite?
 
Nope, I sent you the Regular Zaan.

I told you the startac would look better with ano!:D

Oh well.

I used a scotch brite pad for both. Took a minute to take apart, a few minutes of scotch brighting, a minute to put back together :thumbup:

Took some night pictures as the finish seems to show better. On a celebratory note, not only did I get an amazing knife today, but I also got word i'll be getting published for the first time :thumbup: (in six months to a year, but come on people that's still pretty cool)

I'm jealous of all of you getting star-tacs. Especially the person who got the new pivot with no stop pin :O I think it would be really cool if you could anodize the rays red(is red possible?)
